Slacker Lurve

I couldn't think of a more perfect title and it does come with an explanation, NOT an apology (can't stand it when people apologize for not blogging, we all do have lives)! I may have been slacking on my blog and all things internet related recently but my Etsy shop has been keeping me quite busy. As did the holidays, military wife life, my three munchkins oh and a tiny factor that we are adding a fourth in July! So with the first trimester under my belt, this Mama is feeling like she's getting back on track, woo hoo!

Hanging Wish Lists

My kids love cutting pictures out of magazines, so last year I made them some hanging wish lists. You can view those HERE. I wasn't too keen on how the photos turned out, so I made new ones this year and they filled their ribbons to the brim!

These have been featured in Kangaroo Mama's Holiday Guide

and will be a tradition in our family for years to come!

Advent Calendar

I saved the boxes I had made last year in Newport and re-stuffed them with candy, fun daily Christmas (age appropriate) things to do and scripture verses this year. Since our youngest is 2-1/2 he gets to participate this year, so my three kiddos take turns on whose day it is to open.

The skys the limit on advent calendars, make them fun for your individual family! The treats don't need to be huge, our boxes are stuffed with a handful of M&M's, Jellybeans, or One round Cookies & Cream candy treat.
